Frostburg, MD - Seventy minutes weren't enough as the Hendrix field hockey team battled the Frostburg State Bobcats on Saturday afternoon. After scoring the first goal of the game, the Warriors would be held scoreless as the FSU would score six times to take the 6-1 win.

Marie Slop started the play for Warriors by inserting a ball into the goal on a penalty stroke. HC would remain scoreless for the rest of the game. The game-winner for Frostburg would come from Logan Gladden.

"Hendrix added to its scoring depth today by adding a fifth player on the squad to score for the Warriors," said Head Coach Rebecca Begley.

"Were looking forward to continue to develop and grow our game tomorrow on the road," ended Coach Begley.

In the tough loss, the Warriors were outshot by the Bobcats the 30-11 (23-6 on goal). It was close in corners as FSU was only up 6-5 in the contest.

The loss moves the Warriors' record to 1-2.

Hendrix will next take the field on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. when they take on the Hood College Blazers.
