Conway, AR - The Hendrix College Women's Volleyball team hosted a SAA Conference match this afternoon. The Warriors took on the Tigers of Sewanee. The Warriors win streak was ended as they were swept 3-0 in the match, (24-26, 21-25, 22-25).

Hendrix's offensive struggles reared their ugly head against the Tigers in the match, as the Warriors hit for just a .095 percentage as a whole. Sewanee had a much better percentage wise, hitting .202 as a team; however, their 39 kills to Hendrix's 33 was comparable.

Eight different Warriors tallied kills against Sewanee with sophomore Lauren Dwyer leading the way with eleven. Senior Lauren Petrisin and junior Brianna Kelly weren't far behind with six each. Freshman Jeanette McGrath paced the Warriors with a match high 17 digs as Hendrix fell to 5-7 on the season.

The Warriors will have a week off before taking on SAA opponent Berry on Saturday, September 23 in Mount Berry, GA. The match starts at 12:00 pm.
