In their fifth conference game of the season they faced the Stormy Petrels were it was a hard fought match from start to finish. Both the opening and second set of the match were close in score as neither team wanted to yield a set.
Set number one ended in a test of wills, with each side fight hard as it was all tied at 20 late. Hendrix drew first blood to take a 1-0 lead when they earned three of the final four points to take the opening set 25-21.
