Jackson, MI - The Hendrix women's basketball team traveled to Millsaps for a SAA conference match-up Sunday afternoon. The Warriors entered play with a record of 11-4 overall and a conference record of 3-1. 

Millsaps controlled play for much of the first half. The Majors led the Warriors by a score of 21-8 after the first quarter and built upon that lead in the second quarter. After the second quarter Millsaps held a 28-22 lead. 

Hendrix would not go down quietly on account of the early deficit but their push in momentum was not enough to dig themselves out of the early hole.

The loss dropped Hendrix to 11-5 on the season and 3-2 in conference. 

Individually for the Warriors, Leah Boehl led the way with 15 points and three rebounds. Amber Turner contributed 13 points and six rebounds to the cause and Leah Smith added eleven points of her own.

The Warriors will be back in action this Friday when they take on Centre College at 6 PM at home.
