Danville, KY - The Hendrix College men's basketball (4-14, 2-5 SAA) team squared off this evening with Centre in a SAA Conference match-up.

The Colonels were able to ride a first half lead (55-23) to beat the Warriors with a final score of 108-48.

The Colonels started the night on an 8-5 run to take the early lead. The Warriors would not be able to take the lead for the rest of the half.

The Colonels controlled the temp the whole half, utilizing their size and dominating the glass for second half opportunities to go into the half with a 32 point lead (55-23).

Junior Preston Smith led the Warriors with nine points. 

Michael Calamese went for six points and three rebounds and Eli Fisher finished with five points.

Freshman Jack Eaton pulled in a team high six rebounds, all on the defensive end of the court.

The loss drops the Warriors to 4-15 on the season.
