HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tigers connected on a pair of goals in the opening 20 minutes of this contest.
- Taking a 2-0 lead into the break, it wasn't until the 89th minute that freshman Cole Bolen put the Orange & Black on the board. The goal was Bolen's first collegiate goal of his young career.
- Ultimately, the Warriors fell 2-1 at the end of regulation Tuesday; Hendrix's sixth 2-1 defeat this season out of eight total losses.
- After recording just a pair of goals at the break, the Warriors settled for just one goal in the final half. The Tigers landed 28 shots in the full 90 minutes of action and seven shots on goal.
- Sophomore Josh Neuman carded five saves in the loss.
WHAT WAS SAID
"ETBU simply outclassed us in the first 45 minutes," stated Head Coach
Matt Kern. "Their speed of play and passing quality was far superior to ours. Really proud of the group to play a much competitive second 45 but we need to continue to work on our collective defending and attacking transition."
