MEMPHIS, Tenn. - As if sweeping eight opponents in a season wasn't good enough, the Warriors found a way to sweep yet another team Wednesday following a 3-0 set victory over Rhodes in Memphis. The Warriors, who trailed 14-6 in the opening frame, recorded a 5-0 run and a 3-0 run en rout to a 25-23 opening set victory highlighted by recording 11 team kills and holding Rhodes to a .020 attacking percentage in the first set.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trailing 14-6 in the opening stanza, Warriors tallied a pair of 5-0 and 3-0 runs to win a nail biter, 25-23.
- While the road team managed a .050 attack percentage in the opening frame, Hendrix recorded an even .500 in the second set with just one attack error on 24 total attacks.
- Leading two sets to none, freshman
Sadie Walker's strong kill helped the Warriors take the lead in the third set and would not relinquish the lead en rout to its 25-19 third set win and sweeping its ninth opponent of the 2018 season.

Lauren Dwyer nearly captivated yet another double-double after her 12-dig, nine-kill performance Wednesday.

Claire Smith and senior
Amber Melcher combined for a whopping 34 assists in the win.

Allison Long, who came into the match ranked second in the entire Southern Athletic Association in attack percentage with a .349 mark, attacked a team-best .857 against the Lynx; converting on six kills on seven total attacks.
- Wednesday's three-set win was the ninth sweep of the 2018 season; most since the 2016 season.
- With the straight-set win as well, the Vikings of Berry continue to hold the top spot in the SAA standings; Hendrix maintains to stay in 2nd place.

Having played its last three out of four games inside Grove Gymnasium, the Warriors return back to Conway for another back-to-back SAA weekend inside the Wellness Activities Center. Hendrix takes on Birmingham-Southern College Saturday at 12 p.m. first before taking on Millsaps Sunday.
