Jayla King netted a season-high 21 points on 9-of-13 (69.2%) shooting and a season-best 13 rebounds in a 64-45 victory over the University of Dallas Crusaders Friday night; the largest victory over Dallas in Irving, Texas since Nov. 25, 2008 (30) and the least amount of points given up since the Dec. 6, 2015 meeting (41). After limiting its last two opponents to five or fewer points scored in one quarter, Hendrix outscored the Crusaders 21-4 in the 2nd quarter. Dallas was held scoreless for the final 7:28 of the first half.
OF NOTE
- Daniel scored her first basket 53 seconds into the game as the Warriors jumped out to the early 2-0 lead and never looked back for the remainder of the game.
- King produced 12 points and six rebounds in the first half alone as Hendrix enjoyed a 39-13 lead at the half.

- The Warriors recorded nine steals, 10 assists on 15 made baskets and forced 14 turnovers in the opening half alone; finished with 12 steals, 17 assists on 25 made field goals and forced 23 turnovers Friday evening.
- The Warriors shot 25-of-57 (43.9%) from the floor, 5-for-16 (31.3%) from beyond-the-arc and 9-of-13 (69.2%) at the charity stripe while Dallas shot just 12-of-42 (28.6%) from the floor, 4-of-20 (20.0%) from downtown and a 17-for-28 (60.7%) mark at the free throw line.
- Hendrix improves to 28-5 all-time against the Crusaders dating back to the 1994 season.
- The 45 points given up Friday is the fewest amount of points allowed since Dec. 2, 2017 (43; Agnes Scott in Memphis, Tenn.).
- With the win, the Warriors have won eight of the last nine contests against the Crusaders (won eight straight before losing 57-53 in Irving, Texas Dec. 19, 2017).

WHO'S NEXT
After the impressive win Friday, Hendrix will stay in the state of Texas as the Warriors look for revenge against Austin College Saturday at 4 p.m. from Sherman, Texas. The Roos defeated the Warriors 65-54 Nov. 18 earlier in the season as part of the 2018 SCAC/SAA Challenge.
