SAN ANTONIO, Texas - In its first game in nearly two weeks and a showdown of two 6-3 basketball teams, Hendrix battled Trinity (TX) Friday evening in the first contest of a back-to-back for the Warriors. After netting 27 points in the first quarter alone, the Tigers were able to captivate a lead as big as 21 points but only won by 12, 67-55, thanks in large part to Hendrix's valiant effort down the stretch. Daniel produced a team-best 20-point performance while shooting 7-of-10 (70%) from the free throw line. Hendrix falls to 6-4 on the season while the Tigers (RV) improve to 7-3.
