SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Entering Saturday's contest with a 1-2 mark in the second game of a back-to-back on the season thus far, Hendrix looked to improve that mark with a showdown against non-conference foe Louisiana College in the final non-conference tune-up game of the regular season. Trailing by three with 45 seconds left, freshman forward sensation
Jayla King swished home a trifecta from the top of the key and a strong defensive stop helped force five extra minutes from San Antonio, Texas. The Warriors would outscore the Wildcats 4-2 in overtime to earn the big win and improve to 7-4 on the season while the Wildcats were just given their third loss of the year, falling to 6-3 on the year. Sophomore forward
Kessie Jenkins also pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds and tallied 11 points en route to her first-career collegiate double-double.
