Conway, AR -Â The Hendrix College baseball team had their home opener on Saturday afternoon taking on the UT Dallas Comets in a non-conference match-up. It was a tough day for the Warriors as they were defeated by the Comets 3-2.
UT Dallas used two different innings of scoring to take the game from the Warriors. Hendrix provided some offensive power as well, scoring two runs in the fifth to tie the game up until UTD's third run came in the sixth.

Jorge Leon drove in a run in the bottom of the fifth, singling to left field to bring home
Sean Dehne with one of his two hits in the game.

Tanner Cooper drove home his RBI in the fifth as well; doubling to bring home Leon as Hendrix's final run crossed home plate.
The Warriors fell to 0-4 on the season. They will be right back at it tomorrow with a big non-conference game against Washington University. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
