Conway, AR - The Hendrix baseball team had a non-conference home match-up today with Washington (Mo.).
The Warriors came out of the gate with tough intensity as they took one from the Bears by a score of 3-2 in ten innings. The Hendrix offense totaled eight hits in the game to improve their record to 1-4 overall.
The game got off to a slow start as Hendrix would not tally their first run until the bottom of the fourth. Getting the scoring going was 
Gerard Russo who drove in the first run with a RBI single to left field. 
Ford Sherrington came up next and blasted a a homerun in the bottom of the sixth to give the Warriors a 2-1 lead.
Rounding out the scoring was 
JP Medick who recorded an RBI and aided in the 3-2 lead and win.
Great performances were turned in by multiple Warriors.  
Drew Judson and Sherrington each recorded two hits.  Supporting the strong games from the lineup was 
Seth Tucker with a hit, 
Sean Dehne with a hit, and Russo with a hit of his own.
The Warriors will return back to action at home this Monday.  A non-conference match-up against Millikin will begin at 1:00 pm.
