Grand Prairie, TX - After a long trip to Texas the Warriors opened their season with a match-up against the Cowboys of Hardin-Simmons.
In the game Hendrix would find themselves down early in the top half of the first inning after Hardin-Simmons was able to score a run.  
The Cowboys plated their next run of the game in the top half of the fourth inning. They put together three hits that led to the run.
The game blew open in the top of the sixth inning as hot hitting helped the Cowboys push across more runs.  They totaled four runs on four hits to take a commanding 6-0 lead.
The Warriors would not be able to make their way onto the board as they would ultimately fall 9-0.
The season starts for the Warriors with a record of 0-1 overall. They will return to action tomorrow with a match-up against Texas Lutheran. The game is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
