Conway, AR - The Hendrix College Women's tennis team came into yesterday's match-up with Blue Mountain riding a two match winning streak. After taking two of the doubles matches to start things off, the Warriors held strong taking three of the six singles competitions and extending their program win streak to three with a 5-4 victory.

Doubles number one was a fight as sophomore Rebecca Sherman and senior Sarah Walker took the number one doubles pairing 9-7. Laela Zaidi and Sara Hoopchuk won a tough match in the second doubles slot (8-4).

The win in the second doubles slot gave the Warriors momentum and it showed in singles play as Hendrix got outstanding play from Sherman, Walker, and Sarah Glass who all cruised in straight sets.

"We played a good team and played very well in our matches today," said Head Coach Harold Henderson.
