Conway, AR - The Hendrix College women's tennis team welcomed the Mountaineers of Schreiner University to Conway. The Mountaineers defeated Hendrix 5-2 in a non-conference match-up.

Number one singles Rebecca Sherman came out strong getting the first win of the morning after HC trailed by three after the doubles matches.

Hendrix also took the number two singles match (6-2,6-4), cutting their defect to 3-2 going into the number three singles competition. They would not be able to secure another win however and would ultimately fall 5-2.

The loss drops Hendrix to 3-3 on the season.
