Memphis, TN -Â The Hendrix baseball team returned to SAA conference action Saturday afternoon. They were slated to take on Rhodes College. Hendrix entered play 12-21 overall and 4-11 in conference.
Evan Ingram started on the mound for the Warriors.
This one turned out to be a tough one for the Warriors. The Warriors were had ten hits throughout nine innings and were held to two runs.
Rhodes broke the game open in the fifth inning when they put up five runs. This gave them a 8-0 lead entering the sixth.
They would go on to score one more run in the seventh and ultimately defeat Hendrix 9-2.

Ford Sherrington, and
Josh Walker recorded two hits each in the game for Hendrix.
The Warriors fell to 12-22 overall and 4-12 in conference.Â
The Warriors will return to action tomorrow, when they take on Rhodes again in a SAAÂ conference doubleheader.
