WHAT WAS SAID
"Congratulations to Howard Payne on a well deserved victory," Head Coach
Matt Kern stated following the defeat. "We were second best on the day and while we gave ourselves a chance with an equalizer midway through the second half, Howard Payne dominated possession, chances, and were the better pressing team. I need to do a better job helping put the the players in positions to attack with numbers, and help them understand the importance of individual, small group, and collective defending. We will look at the tape, train for two days, and get ready for Louisiana College on Thursday."
