Hagan Griffith was at it again on Thursday against the Wildcats. The Arlington, Texas native recorded a pair of goals and one assist en route to Hendrix's 5-0 shutout victory against Louisiana College. Seniors
Evie Cannon and
Melissa Miller combined for a goal and four assist in the win. With the 5-0 victory, the Warriors record its first back-to-back shutout at home since 2015 (Williams Baptist and Louisiana College).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Griffith put the Warriors on the scoreboard just over 10 minutes into the match from a cross by Miller.
- Cannon found Senior
Sydney Blevins in the 24th minute from 20 yards out as the Black & Orange held a 2-0 lead at the break.
- Cannon recorded another assist in the 51st minute; finding senior
Macie Stultz for the 3-0 advantage.
- Already up by three scores, Miller found Griffith to tack on another goal. Cannon would score 62 seconds later from another assist by Griffith.
- Griffith now leads the Southern Athletic Association in goals (6), assists (5), points (17) and shots (37).
- Hendrix held the Wildcats without a shot in the entire match until the 75th minute; outshoot Louisiana College 27 to 2 on the day.
- Both Cannon and Miller entered Thursday's game without having an assist on the 2018 season; combine for four on the night.

"I feel like we played really well tonight," Head Coach
Jeff Trimble stated. "We worked hard on and off the ball. That create a lot of good chances that we were able to finish. We need to continue to work hard and get better but I am proud of the result."
UP NEXT
The Warriors will enjoy a few days off before hitting the road to Cleveland, Miss. to take on Delta State Sunday. Hendrix and the Statesmen are set to begin at 4 p.m.
