CONWAY, Ark. - After defeating Birmingham-Southern 2-1 Saturday in a rematch of the 2017 Southern Athletic Association Semifinals, the Warriors geared up for a non-conference matchup against the Ecclesia Royals Monday afternoon. After recording three goals for the hat trick in the first 10 minutes of play, junior forward
Hagan Griffith helped set the tone early en route to the 9-1 victory over the Royals inside Warrior Soccer Field. The hat trick on Tuesday was Griffith's fourth collegiate hat trick of her young career at Hendrix.

- Monday's final score is the second time the Warriors have recorded nine goals in a game (Sept. 7, 2015; Williams Baptist; 9-0 win).
- With her three goals Monday, Griffith is eight goals shy of tying Samantha Lallas' record of 47 career goals in program history for tops in the program.
- 24 girls saw action Monday; setting a new season-high for most players playing in one regular season game for the 2018 season.

UP NEXT
While only getting to play a quick game at home, it's back on the road for the Warriors. Hendrix gears up to resume SAA action when it travels to Mississippi to take on Millsaps and then taking on Mississippi University for Women the next day. Hendrix takes on the Majors Saturday in Jackson, Miss.
