Warriors Bounce Back for Eighth Sweep of the Season

CONWAY, Ark. - Following a setback from the Berry Vikings Saturday, the Warriors got the chance to put the past behind them and look for another contest on Sunday when the Oglethorpe Petrels came into the Grove Gymnasium for another Southern Athletic Association contest. Hendrix, who recorded 12 or more kills in each set Sunday and who have won eight of its last 11, ended up sweeping the Petrels on the day (25-20, 25-22, 25-19) to improve to 13-3 and 6-1 in SAA play on the year.

WHAT WAS SAID
"Oglethorpe has some talented players and they tests us today", stated Head Coach Brittany Newberry. "We were able to level out our passing and get our middles going. I think that made the difference. Finishing up round one of conference 6-1 is something to celebrate and I am proud of what the players have accomplished so far."

UP NEXT
After winning a five-set thriller just a few weeks ago to open up conference play, Hendrix travels to Memphis, Tenn. to face the Rhodes Lynx Wednesday, yet again. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
