CONWAY, Ark. – Eight Hendrix (9-9, 2-5 SAA) players carved up at least three points each Sunday afternoon but 20 team turnovers allowed by the Warriors allowed Oglethorpe (14-4, 5-2 SAA) to take down Hendrix, 68-47, from Grove Gymnasium. The Petrels' nine three-pointers assisted Oglethorpe in the win while Hendrix hit just four.

TURNING POINT
Oglethorpe tied a game-high 24-point first period performance en route to a 24-11 lead after 10 minutes of play. Oglethorpe also recorded 24 points in the third quarter as well.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Hendrix shot just 2-of-9 from downtown and the Petrels landed six makes on 13 tries in the opening 20 minutes of action, Oglethorpe maintained a 34-22 lead at the break.
- Both teams managed to surpass the 20-point park in the third quarter alone; Petrels landed 24 points in the third quarter while Hendrix logged 23.
- Oglethorpe started the fourth quarter on an 8-0 run to take a commanding 66-44 lead with 3:08 to go.
- The Petrels held Hendrix to just two points in the final 10 minutes of regulation as Oglethorpe won, 68-47.

Vinessa Daniel accounted for a team-high nine points and four rebounds off the bench.

- King also pulled down four rebounds in her first collegiate start while Anderson tallied a team-high seven boards against the Petrels.

Rachel Woppman recorded three points, three assists and two boards in her first collegiate start Sunday.
- Hendrix shot 14-of-52 (26.9%) from the floor and 15-for-21 (71.4%) from the charity stripe while the Petrels made 19 baskets on 46 tries (41.3%) and made 21 free throws on 24 attempts (87.5%).
- While Hendrix outscored Oglethorpe, 13-8, in second chance points, the Petrels' bench outscored Hendrix's bench, 26-16.
WHO'S NEXT
The Warriors, who just finished a season-long four game home stand inside the confines of Grove Gymnasium, will hit the road for the second SAA contest against the Berry Vikings in seven days. Hendrix and the Vikings will battle it out from Rome, Ga. at 6 p.m.
