TURNING POINT
With Hendrix leading by one, 38-37, with 6:31 to go after a jumper by freshman forward Carl Fitch, Berry carved up a 16-6 run to end the game to record the nine-point home court victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Berry jumped out to a 9-2 lead, but back-to-back buckets from Riding and a layup by freshman forward Alex Conrad tied up the game at 9-all with 6:52 until halftime.
- A three-pointer by sophomore guard Kam Brasfield tied up the game at 12-all with 4:32 until intermission.
- Riding and Conrad recorded the final three points of the first half as Hendrix took a football-game like score into the break, 15-14.
- After just Conrad, Brasfield and Riding were able to record points in the opening 20 minutes of action, freshman forward Seth Stanley, senior guard Preston Smith and freshman big man Carl Fitch were able to score in the opening four minutes of the second half as Hendrix trailed 22-21 with 16:27 left.
- For the next 13-plus minutes, neither team was able to lead by more than five points over the other.
- A 10-2 run, including two old fashioned three-point opportunities, helped the Vikings hold a 10-point lead with 1:17 left in regulation.
- Stanley hit two free throws with 49 ticks left but time ran out as Berry landed the 53-44 victory.

OF NOTE
- Three players finished with seven points apiece (Fitch, Smith, Stanley); combined for 24 rebounds, four assists and three blocks.
- Junior guard Jacob Link accounted for four points off the bench and five rebounds in 25 minutes of work while sophomore guard Sean Coman added four points in 20 minutes of work.
- Brasfield and Conrad combined to register three points apiece, respectively; all of which was carded in the opening period.
- After shooting 2-of-11 (18.8%) from beyond-the-arc in the first half, Hendrix shot just 1-for-14 (7.14%) in the second half.
- The Warriors landed a 16-for-56 mark from the field and 9-of-20 mark at the charity stripe for the game while Berry shot 20-of-60 from the floor and 9-of-24 (37.5%) at the free throw line.
- The 44 points scored by Hendrix is the lowest amount of points scored in a game since Nov. 20, 2016 (Austin College).
- The three three-point field goals made Friday tied the season low for three-point field goals made in a game (Nov. 29, 2018; UT-Tyler).
