SEWANEE, Tenn. - In search of its first conference win of the season, Hendrix traveled to Sewanee, Tenn. Sunday afternoon in its next-to-last road contest of the 2019 season. The Tigers struck for a pair of goals in the first 45 minutes of action and carded four more in the second half as Sewanee recorded the 6-0 win over Hendrix to improve to 8-3-1 on the year with a 3-1 mark in Southern Athletic Association play. With the loss, the Warriors drop to 3-11 and 0-4 in the SAA.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sewanee recorded goals in the 26th, 30th, 48th, 53rd, 61st and 72nd minutes to record the 6-0 win over Hendrix Sunday.
- The Warriors recorded six shots versus Sewanee while the Tigers erupted for 34.
- Garrett Bosley and Eli Brizendine both accounted for two shots while Jackson Goodwin and Ricky Barrientos each recorded one apiece.
- Josh Neuman recorded nine saves in the first 61:33 of action for Hendrix in goal while Arron Sahlman registered three saves in the final 28:27 of action Sunday.

WHAT WAS SAID
"I was really impressed with the Sewanee team," stated head coach Matt Kern. "They were physical, organized and played fast. The intensity we showed on Friday was absent today and we struggled to get pressure on the ball."
