CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - Hendrix swimming and diving officially opened up the 2019-20 season Saturday as the Warriors traveled to Clarksville to take on University of the Ozarks (Ark.) from Clarksville, Ark. After recording several really impressive times and through 26 events, the men's team won a nail biter; winning 105-83 while the women's team cruised past the Eagles, 157-40. Now that the Warriors have opened up the season on the road, Hendrix will return to Conway to take on Rhodes Oct. 26 at 12 p.m.

WHAT WAS SAID
"It was great to see the team race again and I am happy with started the season with a win," said head coach Tony Marleneanu. "We are still at the beginning of the season, however we were able to post some fast times. More importantly, I was impressed with the excitement shown by our team and that we kept encouraging each other throughout the meet . Now we need to keep working hard and get ready for the upcoming meets."
