GARLAND, Texas - Both the Hendrix men's and women's swimming and diving teams racked up podium finishes on the final day of the 2026 SCAC Championships to finish the four-day event on a high note.
Freshman diver
AJ Windsor made history on Saturday as he became the first-ever Hendrix male diver to win the men's 1-meter at the SCAC Championships, scoring a 407.70 in the event. On the other side,
Emj Hubbard returned to the podium with a third-place finish in the women's 3-meter dive (323.85).
In the lanes,
Cece Werth capped off her senior season with another medal at the championships, this time with a second-place finish in the women's 200 butterfly with a time of 2:15.98 after placing third in the women's 200 yard freestyle yesterday.
Owen Vennerholm followed up a third-place finish in the men's 100 yard backstroke yesterday with a bronze in the 200 backstroke (2:56.31).
After four days of competition at the SCAC Championships, the women finished in fifth with a team score of 284 points, while the men finished in fourth with 425 points.
