ATLANTA, Ga. - One day after falling to the defending NCAA champions, Hendrix remained in Atlanta, Ga. to take on Southern Athletic Association foe Oglethorpe in search of the regular season sweep against the Stormy Petrels. The Warriors only outscored the Petrels by either two or three in each of the three sets but defeated Oglethorpe in straight sets (25-22, 25-23, 25-22) to pick up its ninth win of the season and improve to 15-4 on the year. Oglethorpe drops to 5-16, 0-11 in the SAA with the loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hendrix trailed 5-1 early in the game before
Sadie Walker recorded back-to-back kills, a service ace and forced an attack error to tie the opening set at five.
- The Warriors trailed 18-14 before a 5-0 run gave Hendrix the 19-18 lead after Walker forced back-to-back attack errors again; Hendrix took the opening set, 25-22.
- In the second set, the Warriors trailed early, 5-1, once again; before a 5-0 run gave the Warriors the 9-8 edge after a service ace from
Lauren Dwyer.
- Oglethorpe led 13-9 but an impressive 9-0 Hendrix run, capped off by a powerful kill from
Maddie Tovar gave Hendrix the 19-14 edge in the set.
- The Warriors utilized a 4-0 run to take a commanding 23-18 led in the second frame before an attack error by the home team gave Hendrix the set, 25-23.
- Hendrix recorded a game-high 13 kills, as a team, in the third set and limited Oglethorpe to hit .167 as the Warriors took the third set (and the match) 25-22.

Jeanette McGrath recorded a team-high 15 digs while Dwyer added 13.
- Walker registered nine kills and six digs while hitting .192 and accounted for 10.5 points.
- Tovar hit .357 on the day against Oglethorpe with six kills and four digs.
- Hendrix remains in second place in the SAA standings and will battle the third-place team Sunday from Rome, Ga.
- With the win, Hendrix has now recorded a regular season sweep over three teams (Centre, Oglethorpe and Sewanee) and now has 10 straight-set wins on the year.
