CONWAY, Ark. - Winners of three in a row, Hendrix returned back to Conway for the first time in four weeks to take on Rhodes in a classic Southern Athletic Association showdown from Young-Wise Memorial Stadium Saturday night. After scoring 34 points a week ago, the Warriors continued its tenacious offensive success; scoring 10 points in the opening quarter and 14 in the second period to take a 24-0 lead into the half. Hendrix outscored the Lynx 9-0 in the final 30 minutes of football as the Warriors won, 33-0, to pick up its first shutout since Nov. 12, 2015 and its first shutout against Rhodes since Nov. 20, 1926.

Chad McGonigal from four yards out for McGonigal's first receiving touchdown of his career.

Sandy Burks nailed a career-best 48-yard field goal with 32 seconds left in the opening period as the Warriors led 10-0 after one quarter.
- Thompson recorded the fourth rushing score of the year with 11:59 left in the first half; scoring from 20 yards out as the Warriors led 17-0.
- Thompson found
Kip VanHoose from 20 yards out with 3:04 to go in the half as Hendrix led 24-0 at the break.

Austin O'Brien recorded his third career touchdown and first of the 2019 season with 1:47 left in the third period before Burks nailed a 27-yard field goal with 10:55 left in the game as Hendrix defeated the Lynx, 33-0.
OFFENSIVE NOTABLES:
- Thompson finished an efficient 27-for-34 with 246 yards and three total touchdowns while also rushing for 37 yards.
- One week after being named SAA Offensive Player of the Week, VanHoose registered 71 yards on 17 carries while O'Brien finished with 30 yards on eight carries.

Caleb Williams accounted for 31 yards on the ground in the huge win as well.
- Thompson surpassed the 200-yard passing mark for the second time this year; Hendrix 2-0 when the redshirt junior passes for at least 200 yards in a game.

Tanner Hartsfield recorded a team-high seven tackles versus Rhodes Saturday.

Jared Bazley each accounted for six tackles in the 33-point win.
