CONWAY, Ark. - Looking to continue its winning ways, Hendrix hosted Millsaps for its second Southern Athletic Association game in a week. The Majors scored one goal in the first half and two in the second to defeat the Warriors, 3-0. With the loss, Hendrix drops to 3-9 on the year with an 0-2 mark in SAA play. Millsaps improves to 5-5 with an even 1-1 mark in conference. In addition to the "Pink Out" game, Sunday's game also served as Senior Day where Hendrix nine senior players and one team manager were honored prior to kickoff.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Millsaps scored in the 12th minute to take the 1-0 lead.
- After the Majors led 1-0 at the half, Millsaps scored again in the 52nd minute.
- Millsaps recorded a third goal in the 62nd minute as the Majors defeated Hendrix, 3-0, Sunday afternoon.

Caden Wilcox recorded three shots and one shot on goal against the Majors.

Ricky Barrientos and
Jackson Goodwin all recorded one shot Sunday.

Josh Neuman recorded five saves and only allowed three goals in all 90 minutes of action in goal for the Warriors.
WHAT WAS SAID
"Really disappointed with the result today," stated head coach
Matt Kern. Full credit to Millsaps, as they created more chances, had more possession and were committed to winning second balls. The result was a fair outcome but I did not prepare the group properly. We will look to fix a few things before next weekend."
UP NEXT
Hendrix hits the road to Danville, Ky. to face its first conference road game of the year. The Warriors battle Centre Friday at 7 p.m. CT.
