CONWAY, Ark. – After trailing for majority of the second half, sophomore guard

Jacob Link who maintained a strong drive to the basket with 2.3 seconds left for the game-winning layup to put the Warriors up 70-68 over Sewanee (16-5, 5-5 SAA). After two Sewanee timeouts, Link poked the ball away as Hendrix managed to escape for a huge Southern Athletic Association victory inside Grove Gymnasium Friday night in front of over 400 fans.

WHAT WAS SAID
"I thought it was a great team win, Sewanee is a really, really good team," stated Head Coach
Thad McCracken. "We weathered the storm. I was proud of how we came out of halftime. We were able to get some huge stops late. Just a huge play by Jacob to go strong to the basket, make a physical play and ultimately hit the game-winner there. I was really proud of him and all of our guys' intensity and effort we showed in the second half."
