CONWAY, Ark. – Senior guards
Preston Smith and Mike Calamese combined for a 33 points, six assists and two career-high performances as Hendrix (10-15, 6-8) defeated Rhodes (5-20, 2-12) by 20 or more points for the second time this season after a 96-69 whooping Saturday night inside Grove Gymnasium in the final home game of the 2018-19 season. Hendrix recorded a 53-point second half after just leading by seven points as Hendrix records its sixth conference win of the season; second-most conference victories since joining the Southern Athletic Association. The Warriors will gear up for the 2019 SAA Tournament and will play as the No. 6 seed.

TURNING POINT
Leading by just six points at the break, the second half was the turning point after the Warriors carved up a 53-point second half en route to a 27-point win at home on senior day.

Seth Stanley hit a three-pointer with 17:52 to go until halftime to put the Warriors on top again.
- A quick 4-0 run after Rhodes pulled within one put Hendrix up five with 14:11 to go til halftime after a jumper from
Alex Conrad.
- The Warriors led by seven points a couple of times but Rhodes took a two-point lead with 5:50 until halftime but a 7-2 run by Hendrix to end the half allowed the Warriors to seize all the momentum.
- Hendrix embarked on an 8-0 run early in the second half as both Smith and Calamese converted on one three-pointer each as the Warriors held a 12-point edge with 16:29 to go.
- Another 7-0 Warrior run with 14:10 to go put the home team up by 17 points.
- Hendrix scored the final seven points of the contest as the Warriors cruised to a 96-69 victory after shooting 54.8% from the floor in the final 20 minutes of action and 58.8% from deep.
- Smith tallied a season-best 23 points on 5-of-8 shooting from deep while Calamese also logged a season-best after a 10-point, five-assist performance against the Lynx.

Carl Fitch added 17 points and five rebounds against Rhodes while
Trey Rouse pitched in nine points off the bench.
- Hendrix shot 53.3% from the floor in the game and 48.1% from deep.
WHO'S NEXT
Now that the regular season is over for the Warriors, Hendrix will serve as the No. 6 seed in the upcoming SAA Tournament. The Warriors will battle No. 3 Sewanee from Danville, Kent. Feb. 22. Each team won at home in the regular season against each other.
