CONWAY, Ark. – After a pair of victories over Big Blue Saturday afternoon, Hendrix (5-1) looked to bring out the brooms Sunday with a third and final game against Millikin (3-0). After trailing 1-0, the Warriors bounced back with a pair of runs in the fourth thanks to a RBI triple by
Andrei Stoyanow.
Sean Dehne and
Tanner Cooper recorded two two-out hits in the ninth inning trialing by a pair of runs to tie the game up before
Rail Gilliam recorded his first walk-off hit in the bottom of the 10th with the bases loaded as Hendrix defeated Millikin for the third time this weekend, 5-4 on Sunday.
