NOTABLE:
- Cooper recorded his first home run of the year in the second inning after a two-run blast to left field to put the Warriors up 2-0 on the Eagles.
- Cooper logged another hit in the fourth as he belted a double to right center to score Stoyanow.
- Sherrington led the bottom half of the eighth inning with a lead-off double to left center field. Stoyanow advanced Sherrington to third on a sacrifice bunt before Ju. Leon scored Sherrington on a fly out to center field and a catcher's interference call at the home plate.
- After batting .095 in the first seven games, Cooper finished the day batting 3-for-3 with a run and all three of Hendrix's RBIs Monday against Benedictine (Ill.).
- Tucker batted 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles against the Eagles and one stolen base.
- Sherrington and Ju. Leon accounted for multi-hit days against Benedictine (Ill.) and also recorded a run each.

Kyle Wellman tossed four and two-third innings for Hendrix in the start; gave up five hits and three runs while striking out four.
- Orren picked up the win after allowing one hit in three and one-third innings of action while Barker picked up his third save of the season after getting the final two outs of the game for Hendrix's eighth victory of the season.
- Benedictine (Ill.) left 10 on base while the Warriors left only seven batters on base.
