DANVILLE, Ky. – Following a 3-0 win over Centre Saturday, the Warriors fell to the Colonels 9-4 in game one on Sunday but came back to win the three-game series after a 4-3 come-from-behind road win against Centre in game two as the Warriors improve to 13-4 and 4-2 in Southern Athletic Association play.
Josh Walker picked up his second home run of the season in the five-run loss in game one while
Taylor Barker picked up just his second win on the season in game two after picking up a decision in the second straight day. With the 13 wins, Hendrix has won more games in just over one month than the entire 2018 club did (12).

- After allowing a seven-run inning to Centre in the second, Hendrix scored one run each in the fourth, fifth, sixth and ninth innings as the Colonels took the first game 9-4 Sunday.
- Cooper, Jo. Leon and Walker accounted for the lone two-hit games for Hendrix while
Seth Tucker picked up his first loss of the season on the mound after two innings of work.
- Stoyanow and Ju. Leon each added one RBI while Walker did so as well.
- Walker belted his second home run of the year in the sixth inning; a solo shot.

GAME 2
- After trailing 1-0, Gilliam and Flisk managed back-to-back two-out RBI hits in the fourth inning as the Warriors took the 2-1 advantage.
- Centre took the lead after a two-run home run shot in the fifth.
- Cooper tied the game in the seventh on a fielder's choice before a single bu Ju. Leon gave Hendrix the 4-3 lead with three outs to go for the win.
- Barker took the mound for Hendrix in the seventh and struck out two batters to pick up his second victory on the season.
- Ju. Leon tallied the only three-hit performance of the game after recording one RBI against Centre too.
- Gilliam batted 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI against the Colonels in the game.
- The Warriors recorded 11 hits as a team while Centre struck for just four.
