CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – Riding a five-game win streak and having won its last two against University of the Ozarks this season, Hendrix looked to pick up a win against its next-to-last non-conference foe of the regular season Tuesday afternoon in Clarksville. Hendrix took advantage of some early, hot bats and took a 3-0 lead in the first inning but six runs in the third inning by the Eagles including a grand slam allowed Ozarks to take the 6-4 advantage. The Warriors carved another run in the ninth and fell, 6-5, to the Ozarks. With the loss, Hendrix drops to 22-8 on the season while the Eagles improve to 12-15 on the year.

NOTABLE:
- Three of Hendrix's first four batters reached base to start the game as the Warriors enjoyed a 2-0 lead with only one out in the game.
- Ozarks' first hit of the game was a grand slam; first batter of the inning was walked by Tucker before the next two Eagles were hit by pitch; Eagles led 6-4 after three frames.
- Out of the final six innings, Hendrix left a runner on base in five of those.
- Stoyanow recorded a leadoff double to begin the ninth; would be Hendrix's fifth run of the game a few batters later as Hendrix fell 6-5.
- Despite outhitting Ozarks 10-7, Stoyanow collected three hits for Hendrix; also scored a run and picked up two RBIs.
- Sherrington batted 1-for-4 with a run and a pair of RBIs as well while
JR McAuley went 2-for-3 at the plate.
- Five pitches saw action while Tucker picked up his third loss;
Taylor Barker worked a bases loaded, no outs situation in the eighth to prevent Ozarks from scoring any while striking out one.
- The Warriors fall to 13-5 against non-conference opponents this season.

Still riding a five-game win streak in Southern Athletic Association action, Hendrix will look to remain atop the SAA standings when the Warriors host the Sewanee Tigers for a three-game series this weekend. First pitch is set for Saturday at 1 p.m.
