CONWAY, Ark. – After splitting the day Saturday against the Sewanee Tigers, Hendrix tied a season-best 16 hits in the rubber match game as the Warriors won its fifth straight Southern Athletic Association series of the season after the 9-3 victory Sunday afternoon which included a 40-minute lightning delay. The Warriors carved up runs in the first and second innings before striking for two in the third. A four-run seventh inning extended the lead to six as Hendrix won its 11th conference victory of the season. The Warriors improve to 24-9 overall with an 11-4 mark in SAA play while Sewanee drops to 18-14 on the year with a 5-10 mark in conference games. The 24th victory of the season surpasses the old program record for most wins in a single season (23). Hendrix is currently tied with Berry in the 2019 SAA standings but own the tiebreaker over the Vikings. With six SAA games left, the Warriors are one game in front of third-place Birmingham-Southern College.

- After a Tucker single back up the middle on the first pitch of the bottom half of the first frame, Sherrington doubled two batters later to score Tucker from second as Hendrix took the quick 1-0 lead.
- Stoyanow struck out the entire side in the second frame before the Warriors added another run in the second inning to take the 2-0 lead.
- A double by Tucker in his second plate appearance brought two more runs home as the Warriors enjoyed a 4-0 lead on Sewanee.
- The Tigers scored the three of the next four runs but a four-run seventh inning allowed Hendrix to lead 9-3 after seven innings thanks to a single down the right field line from Jo. Leon that scored two runs.

- Tucker finished the day one hit shy of tying the program record for most hits in a single game (5); recorded three singles and a double with a team-high four RBIs.
