CONWAY, Ark. - Looking to get back to its winning ways following back-to-back ties on the season, Hendrix hosted Louisiana College Saturday afternoon on Warrior Field for a non-conference contest.
Hagan Griffith and
Mary Helen VanHoy put Hendrix up 2-0 after 12 minutes of action as the Warriors enjoyed a 4-0 lead at the intermission.
Claire Huchingson recorded two more goals in the final 45 minutes, just like she did in the first half as the Warriors demolished the Wildcats by a final score of 10-0. Huchingson records her first-career hat trick while accounting for four goals on the day. With the win, Hendrix improves to 3-2-3 on the year while LC drops to 1-4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Griffith scored in the seventh minute and VanHoy scored in the 13th minute, Huchingson scored her first goal of the day in the 28th minute before scoring once more in the 31st minute as Hendrix led 4-0 at halftime.
- Huchingson tallied a goal in the 59th minute and again in the 62nd minute for her career-best fourth goal of the year; joining Griffith as the two lone players with four-goal games this season.

Aubrey Wasden recorded her third career goal and first of the year in the 72nd minute before Sidney Wagner carded her first collegiate goal in the 80th minute off a foul kick.

Kaitlyn Gilkey recorded the first two goals of her young career in the 83rd and 84th minutes as the Warriors defeated the Wildcats, 10-0.
- Huchingson recorded a game-high six shots with five of them being on goal.
- Gilkey added five goals while VanHoy added three.
- The 10 goals scored by Hendrix is a new program-high; beating out the nine goals scored against Ecclesia (Sept. 24, 2018; won 9-1).
- The Warriors accounted for 23 total team shots while LC recorded just one.

Anna Claire Lewis played the first 45 minutes of scoreless action to pick up the win before Avery Jenson played the next 32:10 and
Andrea Stitt played the final 12:50 in the big win.

The Warriors hit the road Sunday for another non-conference contest this weekend. Hendrix faces University of the Ozarks Sunday at 3 p.m. from Clarksville, Ark.
