BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - After upsetting then no. 14 nationally-ranked Washington University-St. Louis and beating Webster and Westminster (Mo.) in the Bear Invitational a week ago, the Warriors remained on the road, this time in Bloomington, Ill. to take part in the Illinois Wesleyan Holiday Inn Tournament. Friday, Hendrix faced the no. 13 nationally-ranked Chicago Maroons. The Warriors hit .102 in the opening frame while allowing the Maroons to hit .228 as Chicago won the first set, 25-18, and recorded the sweep against Hendrix; winning the final two sets 25-23 and 25-20. Hendrix drops to 3-1 with its first loss of the year while Chicago improves to 5-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the opening set, the Warriors recorded eight kills off 49 total attacks while Chicago recorded a game-high 18 kills for the set one victory.
- The Maroons nailed a game-high .275 attack percentage in the second frame while Hendrix hit a game-high .184 off 10 kills as Chicago took the set, 25-23.
- Hendrix registered a team-best 12 kills in the final frame while the Maroons tallied 13 and a .217 attack percentage as Chicago won the final set, 25-20, for the three-set sweep.

Sesalie Satterwhite nearly carved another double-double after a team-high 15-assist, nine-dig performance

Lauren Dwyer tallied seven kills and two block assists while
Mallory Carty hit a team-best .467 against Chicago. Dwyer also registered 18 digs Friday.

Molly Kingston reached the 20-dig plateau for the second time this year after accounting for a career-high 22 digs Friday.
