CONWAY, Ark. - Off the back of a four game losing streak, the Hendrix Warriors entered Saturday knowing a win over conference-foe Sewanee could serve as a great jumping-off point for the second half of the season.
And Coach
Buck Buchanan's squad did not disappoint.
A dominant first-half defensive effort by the Warriors, coupled with 5 consecutive touchdowns to open the game, gave Hendrix an emphatic 41-0 lead going into the half. It was the first half of shutout defense the Warriors had played since shutting out the Austin 'Roos in the season opener, while the 41 first-half points is the most the offense had tallied up in a single game up to this point.
