Conway, Ark. - Hendrix welcomed one of the region's top teams in UT-Dallas to Conway for the 2022-23 regular season finale. The two teams went back-and-forth from the first minute before the Comets pulled away at the very end for a 76-69 win.
Hendrix was able to withstand a 12-point Comet run at the 5:11 mark to go into halftime trailing just 37-33. Both teams shot an remarkable 48% from the field, but it was UT-Dallas' 24 points off turnovers that allowed them to keep the Warriors at bay in the second half. Hendrix shot just 2-9 from behind the arc in the first half, but found their form and hit on 3 of 5 attempts in the second half to keep the Comets close.
Braden Weaver exploded for a career-high 20 points, dropping 3 three-pointers to go along with a 8-14 performance from the field.
Tyler Deithloff hit double-figures for the second time in as many days, notching 11 points to go along with 8 boards.
Grayson Ryan provided an offensive spark, hitting several contested shots on his way to 9 points.
The Warriors were perfect from the stripe, converting all 12 of their free throw attempts.

Hendrix will begin conference play on January 6 as they head up to Sewanee, Tennessee to take on the Sewanee Tigers. Tip-off is set for 8:00 PM CT at Juhan Gymnasium.
