The SAA's co-leading scorer netted the game's opener inside of four minutes after receiving the ball just outside of the box and slotting it home in the bottom right corner.
Just twenty minutes later, she added a second, this time with a tidy poke past the outstretched arms of Maggie Jones to give
Jeff Trimble's side a commanding 2-0 lead.
Hendrix would take that lead into halftime with the help of
Kennedy Lewis. The freshman came up with several remarkable saves to keep the Vikings scoreless. She would end the match with 19 saves on her way to a clean sheet.
Sierra Dobson would see off the match in the 80' with a clever spot just beyond the halfway line, striking a half volley that took a bounce over Jones for Hendrix's third.
Friday's victory was significant for several reasons. For one, it was the Warriors' first-ever win over Berry. It was also an invaluable three points which sees Hendrix now tied for third in the SAA table with just two matches remaining.
Hendrix will look to solidify their standing as a top four team on Sunday as they host the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrals for Senior Day. Kick-off is set for 1:30 PM at Warrior Soccer Field.
