Conway, Ark. - Hendrix picked up its third-consecutive win in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) on Sunday afternoon, defeating Millsaps in three sets at Grove Gymnasium.
Loren Payne led the Warriors with 14 kills, while
Perri Evans and
Ana Bastos each recorded 11 kills.
Riley Brady and
Grace House combined for 16 kills with 9 and 7, respectively.
Like yesterday's match against Birmingham-Southern, service aces proved to be crucial for Hendrix, with the team combining for 7 on the afternoon.
Sam Friedl accounted for 3 of those after tallying a season-high 5 aces on Saturday.
Adilynn Henry recorded 25 assists, with
Kyler Greenlee contributing 21.
The win lifts Brittany Newberry's side to 9-10 (5-5 SAA). They currently sit fourth in the conference standings, one game ahead of Oglethorpe, who the Warriors will face next Saturday in Atlanta.
