Conway, Ark. - Fresh off their first win in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) last weekend versus Millsaps, Hendrix hit the road for a pair of tough conference matchups versus Centre and Sewanee.

Friday (Oct. 6) vs. Centre
A first-half goal from the Colonels was enough to earn the points for the home side. After a first half that saw the Warriors muster just one shot on record, Matt Kern's side found its offensive footing in the second, firing off five shots, with three of them on frame.

James Leone was called into action four times as the Warriors searched for the equalizer that never came. 

Sunday (Oct. 8) vs. Sewanee
An early first-half goal put the hosts up after 16 minutes of play. Sewanee recorded 11 shots in the first half, compared to just one from Hendrix. However, much like Friday, the Warriors responded in the second half, registering 6 shots with 3 of them on frame. 

The last of those three was well-timed, as Holt Bliss set up Ayden Putnam for the equalizer with just 13 minutes remaining in the match. It was Putnam's first goal of the season, and the third assist for Bliss in as many matches.

The goal earned Hendrix a point on the road against a very talented Sewanee side, and keeps them in the running for a top 4 spot as the postseason push heats up in the SAA.
