Clarksville, Ark. - The Hendrix Warriors fell 66-59 to the Ozarks Eagles at Mabee Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
This was the second of two contests played between the in-state foes this season, with Ozarks taking the season opener in Conway as well back on Nov. 8.
Daniel Cobb and
Colton McMullin led the Warriors with 13 points each, with the latter knocking down 4-of-8 attempts from behind the arc.
Darvis Rasberry Jr. finished the afternoon with a double-double in his long-awaited return to the Hendrix lineup. The junior from Maumelle missed all of last season with a lower body injury, and made an instant impact as a starter by recording 11 points and 13 boards.
The loss drops Hendrix to 3-8 (0-1 Southern Athletic Association), and they will return to Conway to host East Texas Baptist tomorrow. Tip-off is set for 1:00 PM at Grove Gymnasium.
