Ember Hughes competed for Hendrix at the Harding Invitational on Saturday, with Armour smashing the school record in the Decathlon with a 6,143 point mark.
The previous record was 5,836, also held by Armour, a mark he set last year at North Central (Ill.).
Armour currently sits atop Division III in the Decathlon, over 700 points clear of the next highest point total, and is ranked #1 in the country in all of Division III.
Ember Hughes finished fifth in the Women's Outdoor Heptathlon with 2,835 points.
