Conway, Ark. - The Hendrix College Athletic Department handed out its yearly senior awards on Friday at the Senior Athletic Banquet.
Julia Dick (Women's Soccer) was named the NCAA Woman of the Year, while
Zack Roberts (Men's Soccer) was named Hendrix's SAA Man of the Year,
Grace Bryant (Softball) and
Andrei Stoyanow (Baseball) and
Jack Hodgins (Baseball) were awarded the Carl Babcock Award.
Madi Pierce (Women's Basketball),
Tajae White (Football), and
Trey Hoopchuk (Esports) were selected as the recipients of the Bob Courtway Award.
The Coach G award was awarded to
Sydney Wagner (Women's Soccer),
Jason Gibson (Men's Basketball), and
Tate Hooper (Football).
The Hendrix College Athletic Department also debuted its newest award — the Ellis Award — which is dedicated to Hendrix College President W. Ellis Arnold III '79, who is retiring this June. The inaugural recipients of the Ellis Award were
Meghan Fuller-Freeman (Beach Volleyball and Volleyball) and
Adam Bland (Baseball).
