Gladewater, TX.- The Warrior Golf team traveled down to Gladewater, TX to compete in the Tempest Intercollegiate tournament at Tempest Golf Club hosted by LeTourneau to open their 2023 Fall Season. The men finished 5th in the field of 9 with a total team score of 908. Oliver Naumann opened his Sophomore campaign in stellar fashion, breaking the single score record in the first round (68) and finishing 2nd with a total score of 212, his first career Top 3 finish. William Baker finished 19th with a total score of 225. Freshman Hogan Dunn made his debut coming in 24th with a total score of 229. Lail Shaw finished 44th, Deqlyn Buttrey finished 48th & Matthew Stephens finished tied for 49th.

The woman had a great showing as well with Amber Alsup finishing 16th with a total score of 177. Gianna Miceli finished tied for 23rd with a total score of 189. Freshman Claire Nation finished 26th with a total score of 192.
