MGOLF | Warriors Record Third Straight Top 5 Team Finish

Round Rock, Texas (March 24th, 2026) - The Warriors spent the first part of Spring Break at Teravista Golf Club for the Linda Lowery Invitational hosted by Concordia (TX). The men placed 4th out of 11 for their third straight Top 5 finish and were one stroke from being tied for 3rd. The Warriors shot a total two round score of 601 (296 + 305). 

Oliver Naumann finished T4th shooting E for the tournament. Naumann kicked off the tournament scoring a birdie on the second hole of the day and would end the first day -1 and sitting in the Top 5. Naumann would end the second day +1 after bogeying the final hole of the day. Naumann would record 6 birdies for the tournament. 

Tyler Morton recorded his best finish in his freshman campaign, finishing T10th at +4 for his first Top 10 finish. Morton would fall behind early the first day, going +4 in his first four holes before rattling off two birdies on the back nine. Morton would add two more birdies to his scorecard to finish the day +2. Morton would start off similar the second day, falling behind before getting back on pace. Morton would add two birdies on the day to finish +2. 

William Baker found himself inside the Top 25 with a 24th place finish at +9. Baker started off -2 before falling behind on the back nine. Baker would add a birdie for the front nine to finish +4. Baker would kick off day two with a birdie right out of the gate before adding two double bogeys. Baker would start off the back nine with a birdie and finish the day +5. 

Michael Young landed just outside the Top 25 with a T29th finish at +12. Young had a fantastic first day going +3 with three birdies on his scorecard. Young wouldn't be able to keep up the success on the second day, going +9. 

Cole Jones finished T49th at +19. Jones added two birdies with 9 pars to finish day one +8. Jones would par 8 holes on the second day and finish +11 for the day. 

George Murray competed as an individual and finished T60th at +27. Murray would knock in two birdies on the first day with 6 pars to finish +17. Murray would have a much better second day adding two birdies and 6 pars to finish +10.
