Conway, Ark. - Hendrix endured a rough road trip out east as they traveled to take on Centre and Sewanee.
The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Colonels at Alumni Gymnasium on Friday evening. After dropping the first two sets, the Warriors fought back to take the third set 25-23. They could not replicate that magic in the fourth though, as Centre eventually prevailed in a back-and-forth set that ended 27-25.
Camryn Presley led Hendrix with 14 kills.
Catalina Williams and
Perri Evans finished with 9 and 7, respectively, while
Kyler Greenlee recorded 28 assists.
The following day, the Warriors faced off with Sewanee and suffered an uncharacteristic sweep. Hendrix could only muster 20 points in one of the three sets at Juhan Gymnasium.
Ana Bastos led the way with 6 kills, her third-hightest total of the season.
Hendrix now returns home to host #12 Berry and Oglethorpe at Garrison Court at Grove Gymnasium.
