Conway, Ark.- Hendrix hosted Sewanee Sunday afternoon, coming up short 1-0.
The first 45 minutes was a back and forth affair with both teams registering shots early and often, with Parker Briggs & Jack White both trying to find the back of the net. James Leone ended the first half with 2 saves.
The second half would start the same as how the first went, both teams going back and forth until a penalty kick goal at the 58:38 mark would put the dagger in the game for the Warriors. Hendrix would attempt to even up the match with shots by Dylan Whisenant & Josh Montgomery late but to no avail.
The Warriors ended the match putting up 6 shots with 1 on goal and three saves by James Leone.
The loss drops the Warriors to 4-5-4 overall and 1-2-2 in the SAA. The Warriors will be back in action October 26th hosting the Rhodes Lynx. Kick-off is slated to start at 5:00 PM.
