Conway, Ark.- The Warriors played host to the SAA leading Tigers of Sewanee Sunday, with the Warriors falling by a score of 3-0.
Sewanee struck first just 1:57 into the match to go up 1-0. The Tigers would strike again a couple minutes later at the 7:08 mark to push their lead to 2-0, where that would remain the score to the half. The Warriors were unable to generate any type of offense, as Sewanee would control the first half by keeping the Warriors on their side of the pitch majority of the half.
The Warriors would surrender another goal at the 62:11 mark in the second half to give Sewanee a 3-0 lead. The Warriors would attempt to answer with a late shot at the 84:47 mark by Chloe Grimm, but that would be the lone shot of the match from the home side.
Bron Adams started in goal for the Warriors, registering 6 saves on the afternoon. Kennedy Lewis would enter the second half and recorded a save.
The loss puts the Warriors at 5-3-5 overall and 1-2-2 in league play. The Warriors will be back in action Wednesday October 23rd as they host Belhaven for a late season non conference matchup. The match is slated to begin at 5:30 PM.
